Questionnaire Before Traveling; Temperatures Taken at Check-in

Anyone signing up for a Tokyo Niseko Express trip will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire similar to those presented upon check-in at most hotels in Japan at the time of signing up. Temperatures will be taken to confirm lack of fever at the time of check-in. The lodge in Niseko is also implementing additional safety measures for all groups staying. Privatized Transfers for Maximum Safety

In addition to lodging accepting only private groups, to avoid public transportation we will arrange private vans for trip participants for the round-trip transfer from the airport. Unless the bulk of participants prefer different transfer times, we will arrange airport transfers to depart Shin-Chitose Airport at 17:00 on the arrival date and to depart Niseko Freedom Inn at 16:00 (apres ski) on the returning date, to arrive at Shin-Chitose Airport (CTS) at about 18:30.

Private Group Rates and GoTo Travel Apply

Niseko Freedom Inn is accepting only private groups this winter, with a maximum group size of 21 people. There are 11 ensuite guest rooms available and only couples or flat mates on Niseko Ski Express trips will be asked to stay 2 to a room.

Actual trip cost per person will be calculated based on the number of people on a trip. Unless traveling with someone familiar, all participants will be encouraged to stay in single rooms. The Inn cost will be divided among the participants, with 75% of the allocated cost of a single room assigned to each participant staying double occupancy. A minimum of 8 participants will be required for a trip to run.

Niseko Freedom Inn is on the GoTo Campaign program, so a 35% discount will be applied to the selected trip rates, which will include lodging, breakfast and round-trip transportation to and from Shin-Chitose Airport. An additional 15% of the rate will be provided in coupons, which can be used widely at the resort and across Hokkaido, including for lift tickets, equipment rentals, lessons and even convenience store purchases, among other vendors.

The fixed rate for the Inn is 150,000 yen / night (+ 10% consumption tax and 2% Kutchan lodging tax), except for the December 30, 2020 to January 1, 2021 (3 nights), when it is 200,000 yen / night + tax. Round trip transportation to and from the airport is 10,000 yen / person + consumption tax (incorporated into the lodging fee to qualify for GoTo discount). With 10 people on a trip, all staying in Single Rooms, for example, the cost per person would be on any three night trip other than on the New Year dates:

Basic lodging fee:  150,000 yen / 10 = 15,000 yen / night x 3 nights = 45,000 yen / person
Round trip airport transfer:  10,000 yen / person
Total lodging package:  55,000 yen / person
Taxes:  6,600 yen
Sub-total:  61,600 yen
Go To Travel discount:  19,250 yen (55,000 yen x 35%)
Total payment:  42,350 yen
